Selar is an e-commerce platform where digital creators can sell their digital products. Its major users are digital creators who create products like ebooks, online courses, templates, worksheets, memberships, and coaching sites.
Being a B2B and SaaS brand, Selar’s target audience typically includes authors, creators, coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, and anyone who creates a product to monetize
their knowledge.
Role
As a Content Manager at Selar, my key role was to build the brand’s identity, enhance brand awareness, create content that resonates with the target audience, increase brand visibility on search engines, and ultimately drive conversion through content.
Responsibilities
- Content creation: Created, edited, and published compelling and relevant content across various platforms, including website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
- Content strategy: Created a content strategy that ensures content aligns with the target audience and results in content-led growth.
- UX Writing: Wrote copy for various sections of Selar’s website and digital interfaces.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Handled all of Selar’s SEO ensuring the brand ranks for target keywords like where to sell digital products online, platforms to sell digital products, how to create and sell digital products, etc, achieves online visibility, and conversions.
- Project Management: Led and managed various projects like the Selar100 Campaign, Creator Summit, Selar Case Study series, and Digital Product Sales Webinar with TriciaBiz, Patty, and Emeka Nobis.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitored and analyzed content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

- Implemented on-page and off-page SEO strategies resulting in a remarkable 105% increase in monthly organic traffic within the initial six months.
